If you’re browsing a Stadium Shop and notice that the price on a product thumbnail looks different from the price shown on the product page, don’t worry, it’s not a mistake! This article explains why some swag items display “as low as” pricing and what that means for you as a recipient.
🎁 What Is Tiered Pricing?
Some products in Stadium Shops, especially bulk swag items, are priced using a tiered or volume discount model. This means the price per item decreases as the order quantity increases.
Here’s how it works:
In the featured picks view, you may see a price like:
👉 “As low as 874 Pts.”
When you click into the item and get routed to the product detail page, the standard price may show:
👉 “1,035 Pts” for a quantity of 1
This happens because the item supports bulk ordering and the price shown on the preview or featured page is the lowest possible price per unit if someone were ordering a large quantity (e.g., for a full team).
🧠 Why Am I Seeing a Higher Price?
As a gift recipient, you're typically ordering just one item. That means the price you see on the product detail page reflects the minimum order quantity of one, not the discounted bulk rate.
The “as low as” pricing simply highlights what companies could pay if they were ordering in high volumes.
📌 Important Note
This pricing model only applies to bulk swag products (like apparel or drinkware).
Items like snacks, gift cards, or on-demand products will always show fixed pricing.
If you see a price difference between the item featured picks and the detail page, it’s due to tiered pricing for bulk swag. You’ll always pay the correct, per-unit price for the item you're redeeming, no surprises at checkout.
