Setting up interview stage-based gifting automations is a powerful way to streamline candidate engagement and enhance the recruiting experience. This guide walks you through the step-by-step process of integrating your Applicant Tracking System (ATS) with Stadium and creating automated gifting workflows that trigger when candidates reach specific interview stages.

Here Is a Step-By-Step Guide on How to Create Interview Stage-Based Gifting Automations

Integrate the ATS Platform with Stadium

Requirements:

Before proceeding, ensure that your ATS account is already connected to Stadium.

Navigate to the Company Space Page

• Expand the Sidebar Menu (if collapsed)
  • Click on the left-facing arrow ( ˂ ) at the top-left corner of the sidebar to expand the navigation menu.
    (If the menu is already expanded, you can skip this step.)
    
     
• Navigate to the Company Space Page
  • In the sidebar menu, locate and click on "Company Space" to access your company space page.

Choose Your Integration

• On the Company Space page, click on INTEGRATIONS
• From there, you can choose which available connections you can use for your Stadium integrations.

You can either:

• Use the search bar to quickly find a specific app or platform

• Click the SEE ALL button to browse the full list of available integrations

Select Your Platform

• Search for the ATS platform you are using. In this example, we will use Greenhouse.
• Click on the platform name.

Complete the Integration

• A pop-up will guide you through the required steps.

• Follow the prompts and enter any necessary credentials or API details.
  ⚠️ Note: Requirements vary by ATS platform.

• Once complete, your ATS will appear under Your Connections.

Automated Gifting Creation with ATS Platform

Navigate to The Automated Gifting Page

• Expand the sidebar menu (if collapsed)
  • Click on the Left-facing arrow ( ˂ ) at the top-left corner of the sidebar to expand the navigation menu.
    (if the menu is already expanded, you can skip this step.)
    
     
• Navigate to the automated gifting page
  • In the sidebar menu, locate and click on "Automated Gifting" to go to your automated gifting page.

Create New Automation

• Click on the CREATE NEW AUTOMATION button

Fill out The Automation Form

• Complete the Automation form with details:

In the form, enter the:

• Automation Name → Enter a descriptive name.

• Automation Type → Select Interview Stages.

• ATS Interview Stages → Select one or multiple interview stages (click X to remove any).
  ⚠️ These stages match those already set in your ATS.

• Click NEXT to proceed.

Choose a Gift Type

 

Select how You Want to Send Gifts:

• Shop Link – Let recipients choose their own gifts

• Kit Items – Send curated swag or custom bundles

In this example, we will choose the shop link.

• You can either choose from Your Existing Shops 

• Or select from one of our Premade Templates.

• After selecting your shop or template, click the "USE TEMPLATE" button.

Set Treat Budget and Customize Message

• Set your treat budget, then click "NEXT." 
• Note that $1 is equal to 50 points.

• Customize your automated gift's message by entering your desired text.
• Then click "NEXT" to continue.

Select A Payment Method

• Choose or add your preferred payment method from the options provided.
• Click CONTINUE to proceed.

Add Billing Information

• Add the Billing Country and Billing ZIP/PIN Code.
• Click CONTINUE to proceed.

Review Conditions and Finalize Your Automation

• Read the conditions and terms carefully.
• Click "SUBMIT" to finalize the automation.

Confirmation

Congratulations! Your automation has been created!

 

How Automated Gifting Triggering Works

Once activated, your automation will automatically send gifts whenever a candidate progresses to the interview stages you selected.

• Gifts are triggered instantly based on ATS stage updates.

• You can view orders from the Orders section
