š¢ What Are the Different Types of Workspaces?
Stadium has two Workspace types: Personal Workspace and Company Workspace. Each serves a different purpose.
š¤ Personal Workspace
Personal Workspaces are intended solely for receiving and redeeming gifts.
ā
A Personal Workspace will now only appear when a user has a valid reason to access it, such as:
Receiving their first external gift.
Creating eligible orders on Snackmagic (Self Order or Organizer Order).
Adding funds to My Wallet from Snackmagic.
Having existing Personal Workspace data such as orders, shops, funds, or swag.
ā
š¢ Company Workspace
A Company Workspace is designed for teams, departments, and businesses that want to manage gifting, Swag, employee recognition, and other shared resources together.
Getting started
Company Workspaces are available to users who sign up for Stadium.
New users may receive a 30-day free trial to explore premium features.

See the š Stadium Pricing Page for current plans and included features.
What can I manage in a Company Workspace?
Depending on your permissions and subscription, your Company Workspace can include:
Shops
Wallets
Swag Collections and the Asset Library
Orders
Kits
Automated Gifting
Contacts
Kudos Programs
Integrations
Resources belong to the Company Workspace rather than an individual user, making it easier for authorized team members to collaborate.
Who is a Company Workspace for?
A Company Workspace is useful for businesses that need to:
Manage team access and financial controls.
Run employee recognition and Kudos Programs.
Automate gifting campaigns.
Organize branded Swag and merchandise.
Coordinate gifting and resources across teams.
š„ Roles in a Workspace
Company Workspaces have four roles: Owner, Collaborator, Member, and External.
Admin and Sender have been combined into Collaborator. The former Non-member role is now called External.
Existing Admins and Senders have been updated to the Collaborator role with equivalent permissions, so their day-to-day access remains the same.
š Owner
The Workspace Owner has overall responsibility for the Company Workspace and its resources, settings, and permissions.
Owners can:
Manage Workspace users and permissions.
Manage Workspace resources and settings.
Manage billing and subscription-related settings.
Access Workspace features and resources.
View everyone's default Wallet within the Company Workspace.
The Workspace Owner can also grant permission-management capabilities to Collaborators when needed.
š¤ Collaborator (formerly Admin and Sender)
Collaborators help manage the Workspaceās gifting, swag and recognition. What each Collaborator can do depends on their Feature Permissions and any Advanced Permissions theyāve been given.
Who can manage permissions for Collaborators?
The Workspace Owner
Any Collaborator with the Manage Roles & Permissions Advanced Permission turned on
ā ļø This permission should be granted carefully, as it gives control over the permissions of everyone else in the Workspace.
Feature Permissions
You can set a separate access level for each feature area:
Swag
Shops
Kits
Automated Gifting
Kudos Programs
Each feature area has three access levels.
Access level | What it allows |
Use Shared | Use resources that other users have shared with the Collaborator. |
Create Own | Everything in Use Shared, plus create, manage, and share their own resources. |
Manage All | Everything in Create Own, plus manage all resources and related orders in that feature area across the Workspace. |
Higher access levels include the permissions of lower levels.
For example, a Collaborator with Manage All for Shops can manage every shop in the Company Workspace, including shops that were not shared with them directly. A Collaborator with Create Own for Shops can manage their own shops but does not automatically have access to every shop in the Workspace.
What Are the Default Collaborator Permissions?
New Collaborators start with the Default permissions preset:
Feature Permissions: Create Own for every feature area.
Advanced Permissions: All turned off.
If any permission setting is changed, the preset changes from Default to Custom.
ā
What Are Advanced Permissions?
Advanced Permissions provide additional capabilities beyond Feature Permissions. Each permission can be turned on or off independently.
Advanced Permission | What it allows | Sensitive |
Manage All Orders | Manage all orders in the Workspace. | No |
Manage Asset Library | Manage assets in the Asset Library. | No |
Manage Integrations | Set up and manage Workspace integrations. | No |
Manage Roles & Permissions | Manage user roles and permissions. | Yes |
Manage All Contacts | Manage all Workspace contacts, including visibility into personally identifiable information (PII). | Yes |
Sensitive permissions should be granted carefully because they provide access to important administrative functions or personal information.
How to update a Collaboratorās permissions
Open the Workspace Contacts page and find the Collaborator. You can search by name or email.
In their row, click the pencil icon in the Permissions column.

Members can:
Redeem gifts or rewards sent to them.
Participate in campaigns and recognition programs.
Send points or credits through the shop catalog when the shop owner allows this in the shop settings.
View their own permissions from the Home Dashboard.
Limitations: Members cannot create or manage other Company Workspace resources.
š¤ External Contact (formerly Non-Member)
External Contacts, formerly called Non-Members, have limited access and can redeem gifts through their Personal Workspace.
ā
External Contacts:
Can redeem gifts in their Personal Workspace.
Cannot access shared Company Workspace resources or programs.
Cannot have their permissions customized.
The role name has changed, but the access limitations remain the same.
