Automating gifting based on your CRM’s deal stage is a great way to celebrate milestones and build customer loyalty. With Stadium, you can easily set up an automation that sends gifts when a CRM deal reaches a specific deal stage and optionally includes amount-based conditions. Whether you're rewarding customers or incentivizing high-value deals, this setup ensures a seamless experience with zero manual effort.
Requirements:
Before proceeding, ensure that your CRM account is already connected to your Stadium account.
🛠️ How to Set Up a Deal Stage-Triggered Gifting Automation
Log in to Your Stadium Account
- Go to the Stadium website and log in with your account credentials.
Navigate to the Automated Gifting Page

Expand the Sidebar Menu (if collapsed)
- Click on the left-facing arrow ( ˂ ) at the top-left corner of the sidebar to expand the navigation menu.
(If the menu is already expanded, you can skip this step.)
- Click on the left-facing arrow ( ˂ ) at the top-left corner of the sidebar to expand the navigation menu.

Navigate to the Automated Gifting Page
- In the sidebar menu, locate and click on "Automated Gifting" to go to your automated gifting page.
Create New Automation
- Click on the CREATE NEW AUTOMATION button
Fill Out the Automation Form
- Complete the automation form with details:
In the form:

Enter your automation name

Choose Deal Stage as the automation type.

This ensures the automation is only triggered when a CRM deal reaches a specific stage.

Select your integrated CRM platform

Select the DEAL STAGE trigger conditions.

Select the AMOUNT THRESHOLD

- Example: When Stage = Closed Won and Amount = $1,000.
- The automation should be set to trigger once.

Choose a Gift Type
Select how you want to send gifts:

Shop Link – let recipients choose their own gifts

Kit Items – send curated swag or custom bundles
In this example, we will choose the shop link.
- You can either choose from your existing shops
- Or select from one of our premade templates.
- After selecting your shop or template, click the "Use Template" button.
Set Treat Budget and Customize Message
- Set your treat budget, then click "NEXT." Note that $1 is equal to 50 points.
- Customize your automated gift's message by entering your desired text.
- Then click "NEXT" to continue.
Select Payment Method
- Choose or add your preferred payment method from the options provided.
- Click CONTINUE to proceed.
Add Billing Information
- Add the BILLING COUNTRY and BILLING ZIP CODE.
- Click CONTINUE to proceed.
Review Conditions and Finalize Your Automation
- Read the conditions and terms carefully.
- Click "SUBMIT" to finalize the automation.
Confirmation
Congratulations! Your automation has been created!
How Automated Gifting Triggering Works
The automation will trigger once your CRM Opportunities/Deals reach the stage that you set up in your Stadium Automation.
⚙️Note: Stadium checks CRM data twice daily, so gifts may be sent a few hours after the deal status updates.
Track Gift Orders
- Once the criteria are met, the automation triggers, and gifts are sent automatically to associated CRM contacts.

Orders are created automatically and shown in your Automation Dashboard
