How to Create an Automation with Kits

Creating an automated gift with kits is an excellent way to celebrate milestones, recognize achievements, or send thoughtful gifts to your team, clients, or loved ones. Whether you're organizing birthday automated gifts, work anniversary celebrations, or appreciation events, this guide walks you through the entire process. Learn how to easily set up and manage automation, select recipients, and send curated kits using your existing collection or by creating new ones.

Step-by-Step Guide on Creating an Automation with Kits

Log in to Your Stadium Account

Go to the Stadium website and log in with your account credentials.

Navigate to the Automated Gifting Page

Expand the Sidebar Menu (if collapsed)
- Click on the left-facing arrow ( ˂ ) at the top-left corner of the sidebar to expand the navigation menu.
  (If the menu is already expanded, you can skip this step.)
Navigate to the Automated Gifting Page
- In the sidebar menu, locate and click on "Automated Gifting" to go to your automated gifting page.

Create New Automation

Click on the CREATE NEW AUTOMATION button

Fill Out the Automation Form

Complete the automation form with details such as the automation name, automation type, and the desired invite send date. Note that the date and time will be based on your time zone.

Select the type of automation you want to create (e.g., birthday, work anniversary, new hires, etc.). The event date will default based on the automation type you select (e.g., birthdate for a Birthday Gift, start date for a Work Anniversary Gift). For example, if you choose "Birthday," the event date will default to birthdate. If you select "Work Anniversary," the event date will default to the employee's start date.

Select Recipients

There are two ways to select recipients for your automation:

Select Filters For Contacts: Use the provided filters to segment your employee list based on specific criteria.
Select Contacts Manually: Choose individual employees from your contact list.

Send Kit and Select/Create your kit

After selecting your recipients, click the "Send Kit" button. You will be prompted to choose from your existing kits or create a new one.

Option 1: Sending a New Kit

If you have no existing kit on the account, the option to create a new Kit will appear at the bottom.
Click on the CREATE A KIT button to proceed.

If you already have existing kits but would like to create a new kit for this automation, click the CREATE NEW KIT button on the Select Kit section.

A new tab will open allowing you to create your kit. Select which type of kit you wish to create. You can choose between Kitted Swag boxes or On-demand Swag

Option 2: Sending a kit with an existing kit on the account

If you have existing kits, they will be displayed at the bottom of the page. Simply select the kit you'd like to send and click on NEXT button to continue with the process.

If the selected kit is limited to specific countries, a pop-up will appear for your confirmation, showing which countries are eligible to redeem the kit. If this works for you, select "CONFIRM." Otherwise, you can choose a different kit or create a new one.
