Kudos program permissions in the company Workspace define how users can create, manage, and participate in kudos programs. This guide explains access levels for owners, admins, senders, and members, including program creation, management rights, and Feed contributions. Kudos Program Permissions for Personal Workspace

The kudos program is not available in a personal Workspace.

To use this feature, you need a Company Workspace. Users can:

Kudos Program Permissions for Company Workspace Owners 

Company Workspace owners can manage all kudos programs across the Workspace, but participating in the Feed requires being added as a user in that program.
 

Kudos Program Creation and Management

• Can create and manage their own kudos programs

• Can view and manage kudos programs created by other users in the company Workspace

• Can manage program settings even if not added as a user with full access

⚠️ Restriction: If the owner is not part of the program, they can manage the program, but the program Feed remains view-only.
 

Kudos Program Feeds

• Can post and contribute to Feeds for the kudos programs they created

• If invited to a program, they will be able to participate and post a message to recognize others

• Have view-only access to Feeds for programs where they are not added as a user in that program

Limitations

• Owners can manage all kudos programs across the Workspace, but Feed participation requires being added as a user in that program.

• Cannot view or manage programs in draft state

Kudos Program Permissions for Company Workspace Admins with Custom Permissions

Admins with 'custom permissions' for kudos programs can view and manage all kudos programs across the Workspace, similar to Workspace owners.

Kudos Program Creation and Management

• Can create and manage their own kudos programs

• Can view and manage kudos programs created by other users in the company Workspace

⚠️ Restriction: If not added as a user in that program, they can manage the program, but the Feed remains view-only.
 

Kudos Program Feeds

• Can post and contribute to Feeds for the kudos programs they created

• If invited to a program, they will be able to participate and post a message to recognize others

Kudos Program Permissions for Company Workspace Admins with Default Permissions

Admins with 'default permissions' can fully manage programs they create or are invited to as users with full access to the program.

Kudos Program Creation and Management

• Can create and manage their own kudos programs

• Can add other admins to their program with configurable access levels

• Can manage kudos programs where they have been invited as an admin and given full access

✨Important Note: 

If the Workspace owner or an admin with 'custom permissions' is added to an admin with default permissions’ program, they will automatically have 'Full Access' within that program.

Other admins with 'default permissions' can have their access configured by the program creator to be either 'Limited Access' or 'Full Access'.
 

Kudos Program Feeds

• Can manage Feeds for programs they created

• If invited to a program, they will be able to participate and post a message to recognize others.

Limitations

• Admins with 'default permissions' cannot view or manage kudos programs where they are not invited as a user

• If given "Limited" user access to a program, Admins with 'default permissions' can only access the program feed but cannot manage the program

Kudos Program Permissions for Company Workspace Senders

Senders can create and manage their own programs and participate in programs where they are invited.

• Can create their own kudos programs

• Can add other admins to their program with configurable access levels

Limitations

• Senders are not able to view and manage kudos programs created by other users in the company Workspace.
